Tight spaces & dense wiring , measure how much load is on a branch circuit right at the panel, including feeder cables, branch circuits, and neutral wires. You can also check whether switches, fuses, and contacts have a continuous path for electricity.
Check the voltage on the load side of a breaker or fuse.
Make sure a circuit is not live before you start working on it.
